Service Notice: Potential Impact to Child and Spousal Support Services
In May 2024, the Department of Economic Security Division of Child Support Services (DES-DCSS) transitioned to a new case management system (AZCARES) for child and spousal support obligations. The Clerk’s Office and Superior Court rely on DES-DCSS’ system to provide various support-related services. During the initial implementation period, customers may experience impacts to the following support-related services:
1. Payment processing delays
2. Payment History request delays
3. Arrearage Calculation requests (currently unavailable)
The Clerk’s Office, along with the Maricopa County Superior Court and statewide Court representatives, remain actively engaged with DES-DCSS to resolve system issues and restore efficient support-related services.

The Clerk's Office has two different payment history reports available - an Official Payment History and a Summary Payment History. The Official Payment History is a detailed report containing several pages that is often used by the Court and other entities requiring a certified document. It includes a complete history from the first payment forward.
