We understand than not everyone has access to an attorney, so to help those who are navigating the court system on their own (also known as self representation or "pro per"), please take advantage of some of the links and resources available on this page. The Clerk's Office is limited in providing legal advice, so these resources are all external or provided by other organizations. If you're unsure of the difference between legal information and legal advice, please read our notice on legal advice

We recommend starting with resources like AZCourtHelp or AZLawHelp if you are unsure where to begin with your situation. AZCourtHelp has a live chat feature that is available during various hours from Monday-Friday. Both AZCourtHelp and the Law Library Resource Center regularly hold free virtual legal clinics that are open to the public and cover a wide variety of legal topics.

If you are in need of forms or assistance with completing forms, please check the Law Library Resources Center or consult a legal document preparer professional. For orders of protection, please visit the Judicial Branch page on Protective Orders.
