NOTICE: IMPORTANT CHANGE IN NOTARY LAW

Effective April 29, 2008, legislation was passed that will streamline the application and certification process to become an Arizona Notary Public.

All Notary Bonds are to be submitted to the Secretary of State's Office along with the Notary Application. The Secretary of State's Office will now handle the entire process. Copies of Notary Bonds obtained prior to 2008 may be purchased by contacting the Customer Service Center at (602) 506-3360. There is a $.50 per page copy charge and an $26.00 certification charge should a certified copy be required.
